Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television shows. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents left for the US and were given asylum. She is the middle of of two siblings and was born within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career in the world of television through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara received her a nomination for the Best Actress award at one of the film festival. The actress was a guest star in several television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Recent roles include a role as a support on the show Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada first appeared in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. She played she played Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care in the second season of Night Shift. In 2009 Ghanizada appeared as Kelly who was a Prada salesperson in HBO's Entourage as well as joining in the cast of the tv pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan and executive producer T Bone Burnett.
